Lytica’s unique methodology relies on statistics based around our database of real customer pricing data.   For our ‘price guidance’ to be statistically valid – we need to have a certain number of unique (different customers) price points for a particular MPN.  So with regards to providing ‘price guidance’, we have 3 possible results for any particular MPN.

  1. Priced – The part is matched and priced.
  2. Matched and Not Priced – the part is matched and in our database, but we do not have enough price points to make a statistically accurate price prediction.
  3. No Exact Match – we don’t recognize the part (MPN) currently.
