Client Part Number (CPN)

The unique identifier that each company assigns to an individual part or MPN. Each company will reference an MPN with a differnt CPN. Example CompanyA refers to MPN123 as CPNABC, while Company B refers to that same MPN123 as CPN789. This becomes the unique language that each companies uses for referning to the parts on thier Bill of Materials.
